We found condo 136 great for our needs. Since it is right next to the door, at the end of the building, you don't have to shlep your stuff very far. Very comfortable. Our only complaint was the thermostat for the heat is wonky. It seemed that when we had it set to 65 degrees, it was about 80 degrees! Once we figured out to set it at 45 degrees or so on the thermostat, we were fine.

Thoughtful housing design with second floor having separate entrance so it minimized hallway noise, comfortable community sitting areas on both sides of building, and so clean, and comfortable. The unit itself was clean, spacious, nostalgic of the areas history, and had everything we needed. In the winter there were clear signs to keep people safe from falling snow and pathways shoveled to prevent falls early in the morning.

We love staying at Donner Village Inn. Our room was clean and quiet, but could use some updating. We lost power twice and it took forever for the water to heat up for a shower. The outside of the windows in the fireplace lounge could also use a good cleaning and cobwebs removed from the lights.
